1. Promoter
All competitions on this website are promoted and administered by FootyQuiz (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Acceptance of These Terms
By entering any competition on FootyQuiz you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these Competition Terms & Conditions.
These Competition Terms & Conditions apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Responsible Play & Fair Play Policy.
3. Eligibility
Competitions are open to individuals who:
- Are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry
- Provide accurate personal and contact information
- Are not employees or direct associates of FootyQuiz
We reserve the right to request identification to verify a participant’s eligibility before awarding any prize.
4. Nature of the Competitions
All competitions operated by FootyQuiz are conducted as skill-based prize competitions under UK law.
Entry requires the participant to correctly answer a qualifying question which involves skill, judgement or knowledge.
Entries that answer the qualifying question incorrectly will not be included in the competition draw.
FootyQuiz competitions are therefore not lotteries and are not games of chance.
5. How to Enter
To enter a competition:
- Select the competition you wish to enter
- Correctly answer the qualifying question
- Select the number of entries you wish to purchase
- Complete payment through the checkout process
Entries are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
Each valid entry is allocated a unique ticket number automatically.
6. Free Entry Route
A free postal entry route is available for each competition in accordance with UK promotional competition regulations.
To enter for free, send a postcard containing:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your postal address
- The correct answer to the qualifying question
- The name of the competition
Postal entries must be received before the competition closing date.
Only one free entry per person per competition is permitted.
Postal entries must be handwritten and submitted individually. Bulk, automated or mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted.
7. Entry Limits
Each competition may specify a maximum number of entries per person.
Where entry limits apply, FootyQuiz reserves the right to cancel entries exceeding the stated limit.
8. Competition Period
Each competition will have a clearly stated closing date and time displayed on the competition page.
No entries will be accepted after the stated closing time.
Competitions may close earlier than scheduled where the maximum number of entries has been reached.
9. Prize Unlock Format
Some competitions on FootyQuiz use a Prize Unlock format.
In this format the advertised maximum prize increases progressively as more valid entries are received.
The prize amount shown on the competition page represents the current unlocked prize value.
The winner will receive the unlocked prize amount displayed at the time the competition closes.
10. Draw Method
To ensure transparency and fairness, FootyQuiz uses a publicly verifiable draw calculation method.
The draw uses the six main numbers from the UK National Lottery Lotto draw to generate a public seed number.
These numbers are combined to form a seed value which is then applied to the total number of valid entries using the formula:
If the result equals zero, the winning entry will be the final entry on the list.
The entry list is frozen before the draw calculation is performed and the result calculation is published publicly on the competition page.
11. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted using the email address and/or phone number provided at checkout.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days, FootyQuiz reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
12. Prizes
The winner will receive the final unlocked prize amount displayed when the competition closes.
Winners located within the United Kingdom may choose to receive their prize either as:
- A cash payment
- An Amazon UK voucher of equivalent value
If the winner selects the cash option, bank details must be provided so payment can be made.
Amazon vouchers will only be issued to the email address used during entry.
Winners located outside the United Kingdom will receive their prize as a cash payment only.
FootyQuiz reserves the right to request identity verification before awarding a prize.
13. Prize Payments
Cash prizes will normally be paid within 7 working days after winner verification and receipt of valid payment details.
Any bank transfer fees or international transfer charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
14. Disqualification
FootyQuiz reserves the right to disqualify entries where we reasonably believe:
- False information has been provided
- Multiple accounts are being used to bypass entry limits
- Automated or scripted entry methods are used
- Fraudulent or abusive behaviour occurs
15. Publicity
FootyQuiz may publish the winner’s first name, initial of surname and/or username for transparency and verification purposes.
No personal information beyond this will be published without consent.
16. Data Protection
Personal data supplied during entry will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Data will only be used for competition administration, contacting winners and fulfilling prizes.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FootyQuiz shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in a competition or acceptance of a prize.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
18. General
FootyQuiz reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend any competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our decisions regarding competitions are final.
19. Governing Law
These Competition Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
