How to Play – Premier League Wordball
Premier League Wordball is a Wordle-style puzzle where you have 6 attempts to guess a mystery Premier League player. Each guess must fit the letter tiles, and the colours show how close you are.

Work out which Premier League player fits the tile layout before you run out of attempts.
1️⃣ Entering a guess
- Type a full player name that matches the number of tiles.
- You must use the exact number of characters shown on the row.
- Press the submit/enter button to lock in your guess.
2️⃣ Tile colours explained
- Grey – that letter doesn’t appear anywhere in the player’s name.
- Yellow – the letter is in the name, but in a different position.
- Green – the letter is in the name and in the correct position.
Use these colours across your 6 guesses to narrow down the correct player.
3️⃣ Facts & hints
Under the tiles, you’ll see an extra fact to help you:
- Click Hint to reveal more details:
- First hint: Position (e.g. striker, full-back).
- Second hint: Year they played for that club.
- Third hint: Nationality.

With every guess, you’ll see feedback that tells you how close you are.
