- You’ll see 10 matches per game.
- Your goal is to get as many exact scores correct as possible before the timer runs out.
📋 Match details you’ll see
Each question shows key information to help you work out the score:
- Competition – e.g. English Premier League 2018/19.
- Season – confirms which campaign the match belongs to.
- Round – for example, Matchday 3 or a specific stage of a competition.
- Date – the exact day the game was played.
- Teams – home team vs away team, shown clearly in the centre.
Use this info to jog your memory. Think about what each team was like in that season and whether the fixture is a famous result.
⌨️ Entering your score
Below the fixture details you’ll see two input boxes labelled Home goals and Away goals. This is where you type your prediction.
- Type the number of goals for the home team in the first box.

⏱️ The 5-minute timer
At the top-right of the game you’ll see a countdown timer. You have 5 minutes total to answer all 10 matches. When the timer hits zero, the round ends – even if you haven’t finished every question.
- Keep an eye on the clock so you don’t run out of time.
- Try to keep a steady pace: around 20–25 seconds per match is a good target.
- Don’t worry if you can’t remember one – make a sensible guess and move on.

- Use the competition and season to judge how strong or attacking each team was at the time.
- Remember that big six clashes often have tighter scores than mid-table shootouts.
- If a team is heavy favourite, think about common scorelines like 2–0, 3–1 or 4–1.
- Replay the mode – you’ll start to remember more scorelines over time.
