How to Play – Footy Ten-A-Ball
A Tenable-style challenge where you have 5 lives to find all 10 correct answers on the board.
⚽ The aim of the game
In Footy Ten-A-Ball you’re given a football question with exactly 10 correct answers. Those answers are hidden on a pyramid-style board, numbered 1 to 10.
Your goal is simple: find all 10 correct answers before you run out of lives. Each correct answer you find fills one of the slots on the board.
Example question: “Top 10 Most Expensive Defenders of All Time” – you then try to name those 10 players.
❤️ Lives & wrong guesses
You start each game with 5 lives, shown as hearts at the top of the screen.
- Type an answer and press “Submit guess” to check it.
- If your answer is correct, it appears on the board and your lives stay the same.
- If your answer is wrong, you lose one life.
When your lives reach zero, the game is over – even if there are still spaces left on the board.
⌨️ Entering your answers
All of your guesses are entered through the text box labeled “Type your guess here…”.
- Type the answer that you think belongs on the board (for example, a player’s name).
- Press Enter on your keyboard or click “Submit guess”.
- If it’s one of the top 10 answers, it will appear in the next available slot.
- Already found answers won’t be added again, so focus on new names or teams.
At the top right you’ll see a counter like “Found: 0 / 10” which tracks how many answers you’ve uncovered so far.
🏆 Winning & losing
- You win if you find all 10 correct answers before your 5 lives run out.
- You lose if you run out of lives with some answers still hidden on the board.
When the game ends, you’ll be able to see the full list of answers so you can check which ones you missed.
💡 Tips & strategy
- Read the question very carefully – details like position, era, competition or league really matter.
- Start with the most obvious answers first to secure some early hits.
- Think in groups: famous transfer windows, big-money signings, legendary squads or title-winning sides.
- Try not to spam random names – every wrong answer costs a life.
