A new World Cup predictor is landing on FootyQuiz — built for bragging rights, team rivalries and the kind of last-minute panic that makes football fun.
What is Footy Forecast?
Footy Forecast is FootyQuiz’s World Cup prediction game. The idea is simple: you predict match scores before kick-off and your points update as results come in across the tournament. No guesswork after the fact, no editing once a match has started, and no hiding behind “I was going to pick that” — it’s your picks, locked in.
The game is being built specifically for tournament chaos. That means you’ll be able to make predictions ahead of time, keep track of what you’ve already completed, and follow your progress as the fixtures roll from the group stage into the knockouts. How the launch will work
Predictions will open ahead of the first round so you’ve got plenty of time to get your picks in without rushing. Once a match kicks off, that match locks — which keeps things fair and makes every early call feel more satisfying. As the tournament moves forward, completed rounds will drop away from the main Predict screen, but your points and history will stay visible in your “My Picks” area.
